EARLY REGISTRATION FOR MEMBERS ONLY UNTIL 24th AUGUST 2022
Lead by a local docent tour guide, come with us to this restricted access heritage site, the Ex-Sham Shui Po service reservoir.
The ruins of the service reservoir were discovered underground and almost destroyed at the end of 2020 when the Water Supplies Department were clearing the site ready to hand over to the Lands Department for redevelopment. Thankfully, due to an awareness campaigners, conservationists and politicians, the site was rescued and preserved as a Grade I Heritage site.
NB: The route between the assembly / dismissal point and the Ex-SSPSR takes a walk of about 15 minutes. It consists mainly of narrow trails and stairs and certain effort will be required. Guests should have a good level of fitness to join the tour.
Dinner at Tim Ho Wan in Sham Shui Po at own expense afterwards.
